Ranger Training: Coexistence & Wilderness Conservation
August 23 - August 29
We cordially invite you as rangers of our member organisations to participate in our training with focus on Coexistence between local communities and large carnivores & wilderness conservation in cooperation with Foundation Conservation Carpathia (FCC). The five days of training in the southeastern Carpathians, Romania, will give ERF rangers practical experience and instructive insights into the work areas of FCC rangers and conservationists.

- Successful ways of coexistence between large carnivores and local communities
- Protection and reforestation of Europe’s largest contiguous forest wilderness
- Wildlife conservation and reintroduction of key native species
- Community outreach & conservation enterprises as sustainable economic opportunities for locals
Arrival Day: 23 August 2024
Training Days: 24 to 28 August 2024
Departure Day: 29 August 2024
Accommodation: different sites of the FCC in the southeastern Carpathians
Arrival/Departure: To get to the training venue on 23 August and back on 29 August, a shuttle will be provided from/to Brașov
Course Fee: 100,- Euro (incl. accommodation, meals, transfer from/to Brașov and training fee)

Badges for exchange: It would be nice if the participants bring some spare badges of their association or protected area for exchanging.
