Although we do not maintain a regular job exchange, we would still like to share some interesting offers with you. This attractive and long-term job opportunity here is for the locally flexible law enforcement experts among you: Co-financed by the Federal Republic of Germany, the Programme for the Sustainable Management of Natural Resources in the South West Region of Cameroon is looking for an International Law Enforcement Expert!

The aim of the programme is the sustainable management of forests and wildlife by the stakeholders in and around the targeted protected areas for their benefit, with a particular focus on the poorer sections of the local population. You will be part of a programme that contributes to the conservation of high-quality ecosystems in the south-west region of Cameroon and aims at sustainable improvement of the living conditions of the surrounding communities.

Longstanding experience in protected area management, law enforcement and wildlife conservation

Collective behavioural change for biodiversity conservation requires the introduction of stricter conditions and sanctions under the collaborative management approach. Without an effective system of law enforcement, the co-management strategy will not be successful in conserving wildlife populations of key species in the area. Read the detailed job description to find out how you as an expert with longstanding technical experience in protected area management, law enforcement and wildlife conservation could contribute:
