The Portuguese Rangers met from 30 January to 2 February for their annual meeting. They celebrated the 30th anniversary of their association and also invited some international guests.
The meeting in Sagres in the Algarve was not only attended by over 100 rangers from Portugal and the islands belonging to it, such as Madeira and the Azores. Representatives from Spain, Great Britain, Italy, Georgia, Serbia and Switzerland were also present. In addition to many presentations, there was also a field trip to the spectacular cliffs.
The congress ended with a real bang: Linda Nunn, Vice-President of the International Ranger Federation, and Urs Wegmann, President of the European Ranger Federation, announced the location of the next World Ranger Congress. This will take place in 2022 on the Azores!
